Yi Xiong is a CTCMA‑certified Registered Acupuncturist with lifelong roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Raised in a family of TCM practitioners, she grew up observing clinical practice, gathering herbs with her elders, and living in tune with seasonal rhythms—experiences that shaped her deep respect for natural healing.
Before moving to Canada, Yi earned her bachelor’s degree in China and spent seven years as a health news editor and journalist. This background strengthened her ability to communicate health information clearly and broadened her understanding of lifestyle‑related health concerns.
After relocating to Canada, Yi dedicated herself to the study and practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She continues to expand her clinical expertise through advanced training with senior mentors worldwide.
Yi integrates classical acupuncture, Tai Chi principles, and seasonal dietary guidance to support whole‑body wellness. She offers scalp, facial, and body acupuncture, as well as cupping, gua sha, sliding cupping, and auricular therapy. Her needling style is gentle, precise, and guided by the principle of “leading Qi with intention.”
Clinical focus: • Stress and anxiety • Chronic pain • Postural strain from prolonged sitting • Digestive concerns • Women’s health: menstrual irregularities, fertility support, pregnancy care, postpartum recovery • Facial acupuncture for natural rejuvenation • Sports injuries and post‑accident recovery
Outside the clinic, Yi enjoys nature, painting, floral and jewelry design, aesthetics, cooking, and exploring philosophy, spirituality, and science. She looks forward to supporting you on your healing journey.
